Part# AD87 1/2"-20 FX1/4"M ADAPTER

The adapter is used on R410A Wall Split Ductless "Mini Split" AC & Heat Pumps that have the 1/2" fitting on the service valve by connecting to 1/4" SAE fittings found on standard manifold hoses.

The fitting was enlarged to 1/2" by most manufacturers of R410A ductless systems to prevent the accidental addition of R22, which is being phased out and will damage the new compressors.

The female side of the brass adapter comes with a schrader valve depressor so it will push in or depress the exsisting schrader valve and the male side has a schrader valve.
