Harbor Point warrants its Wall Split Air Conditioners to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the applications specified in its operation instruction from the date of purchase a period of ONE (1) year on parts and Five (5) years on compressor.  Retain purchase receipt/invoice and serial numbers as proof of purchase.

Exclusions of Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper installation. Use of unqualified installation persons may void this warranty. Use of a vacuum pump and manifold gauge set is required for proper installation.
• Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the unit while in the possession of a consumer not caused by a defect in material or workmanship.
• Damage caused by improper use, consumer negligence, tampering, or failure to follow the care and special handling provisions in the instructions.
• Damage to the finish of the case, or other appearance parts caused by wear.
• Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the unit by anyone other than those authorized by Harbor Point.

Ordering

Credit cards are charged within 24 business hours of purchase, including any federal, state or municipal tax. By law, we are required to collect sales tax on all items picked up locally at one of our facilities or delivered to an address in California or Florida. The tax rate will be based on the state and local rate in the state of California or Florida.  Due to the nature of this product there are no returns allowed. All sales are final.

Domestic Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped via Freight to ensure proper handling of your system during transport. Harbor Point takes great pride in making every effort to ensure that your purchase arrives in a timely manner and in good condition.

Damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of item.  It is very important to inspect shipment at the time of delivery.  It is imperitave to note any significant damage to the cartoning and its location on the receiving document prior to signing.  Please be precise when noting details of any damage.   Any damage or shortage discovered after packaging has been removed must be reported to Harbor Point within 48 hours of receipt.  Photo documentation should be made of any damage.

Local Delivery and Pick-up

Local delivery is available but arrangements must be made with one of our representatives in advance.  Due to the nature of our product there are no returns allowed.

Customers are also welcome to pick up their purchases in person from our local facilities.   Arrangements for pickups must be made in advance.
